Sunshine Coast Vet

Dr. Kaori Kanemitsu has always felt a special connection with animals and has dedicated her entire life to learning about them and helping them. Her recently opened Sunshine Coast Vet Service is of great benefit to the animal and wildlife lovers of the area, especially those who prefer a holistic approach when taking care of their beloved four-legged or feathered friends.

Trained in many facets of animal care and therapy, Dr. Kaori is the perfect choice if you have a sick or injured animal who needs veterinary care. After completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Queensland in 2007, she went over to the US to study under world class practitioner Dr. Huisheng Xie. There she mastered Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and is now a certified Veterinary Chinese Herbal practitioner. This is a unique qualification and only a handful of other Australian vets possess this knowledge and the ability to use it to help those in need. In 2013, Doctor Kaori (also known as Dr. KK) also completed her studies at the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society where she became a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

Dr. KK is heavily involved in studying and keeping up to date with developments in the veterinary world, and aims to be one of the leading and most recognized vets in Australia. In her quest to provide the best possible care to all animals, Dr. Kaori also regularly attends conferences and seminars around the world, where she also lectures on occasion.

If you live in the Sunshine Coast or north Brisbane region and your dog, cat, horse, or any other animal need holistic veterinary care, get in touch with Dr. KK and the team at the Sunshine Coast Veterinary Clinic. They are available for drop in visits or you can utilize their mobile service and have them do a house call to come and see you! The mobile service is free for anyone on the Sunshine Coast within 20 kilometers of Noosa. Take at look at the Sunshine Coast Vet website for more info!
